We provide fire engineering tools for the built environment
These tools can be used by the fire safety community to improve our built environment. The software is designed for use by Fire Engineers. It may also be used at no cost for approval organisations including Building Control, Approved Inspectors & Fire Brigades.
The software has been developed to provide flexible assessments
of whole buildings or a review of a particular solution in one
aspect of a fire engineered design.
The software includes smoke modelling, egress, tenability, thermal
radiation analysis and risk assessment.
There are few limits to the complexity of the building to which
this software can be applied, however for detailed calculation of
hazards for fire scenarios beyond the scope of zone model
assessment and simplified egress analysis, supporting models
should be used such as CFD or discrete evacuation models.
FiRE
Quantified Fire Risk Assessment tool.
- Heat Transfer: 2D Finite Element Analysis with dynamic mesh generation.
- Tenability model (temperature, CO and thermal radiation).
- Thermal Radiation Analysis including new functionality. Draw directly on to elevations, click panels in 3D, and undertakes dose related egress calculation.
FRA
Qualitative Fire Risk Assessment tool commensurate with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Import images and add fire safety hazards directly to building plans.
- Take photos and audio notes.
- Create PDF Fire Risk Assessments and Action List.
eADB
Salisburyfire Ltd are building desktop tools to help design and specify fire safety requirements for buildings based on compliance with UK design guidance.
- Design your building against Approved Document B
